Let's get real about morning routines.

I used to think a "perfect" morning meant waking up at 5 AM, meditating for an hour, journaling, and drinking a healthy smoothie or something…all before my kids even stirred. Spoiler alert: That was NOT my reality. And it’s never going to be! (More power to you if it is, but I like to keep it real here and that approach simply isn’t sustainable to my life.)

As a caregiver, entrepreneur, and mom, I learned the hard way that productivity isn't about forcing yourself into someone else's system. It's about understanding your unique energy, creating space for intentionality, and showing up for yourself first.

As a productivity coach, I've seen countless clients struggle with the same issue, trying to bend themselves into this perceived "ideal" morning routine. They keep trying to make it work, but it isn't sustainable for them either.
